Stuttgart, Germany, January 24, 2008 –(PR.com)– Yuri’s Night 2007 saw the celebration of dozens of international parties, but not many were larger than the one held in Stuttgart, Germany. Hundreds of guests and reporters packed the SkyBar Stuttgart, which featured presentations from the European Space Agency (or ESA), stargazing, and greetings from two European astronauts. Not content to rest on their laurels, Juergen Schlutz and the rest of the Yuri’s Night Stuttgart team are already working to host a Yuri’s Night party to rival any other.
Again to be held at the SkyBar, Yuri’s Night Stuttgart will kick off at 14:00 local time with an afternoon of presentations and exhibitions from the Institute of Space Systems of the Universitaet Stuttgart, the ESA, the German Aerospace Centre DLR and other groups. Experts – and possibly astronauts – will also give presentations on selected topics, describe their experiences in space, and highlight future challenges of the upcoming years.
Once the sun goes down, though, the partying begins. Dancing, drinks, and well-known DJs will all be in abundance at the Skybar. For those looking to relax, stargazing will be available on the SkyBar’s rooftop terrace. Telescopes and amateur astronomers will give interested party guests the chance to take a closer look at the stars and planets – or you can just relax with a cold drink under the stars.
