“The World Space Party” came to Milan for a night filled with food, dancing, art, costumes, music, and all things space on Thursday, 17 October at Justme Milano.
Attendees enjoyed a night with Space Ambassadors, mingled with fellow space enthusiasts, bumped into rocket scientists, enjoyed performances from stellar space artists, and snapped photos with an astronaut or two!

Dr Chrispy
An Australian engineer, Chris worked at NASA and helped co-found satellite imagery company Planet before launching to space on the second-ever Blue Origin suborbital crew launch with Star Trek actor William Shatner in 2021.
Flangr
A dynamic pop artist from Santiago, Chile, Flangr is known for a unique sound that blends Latin flavors with contemporary pop infused with sounds from space, made possible through collaboration with the ALMA Observatory.
Brendan Hall
Documentary filmmaker Brendan Hall shares stories in the natural world and beyond. He is best known for his contributions to PBS’s Bill Nye: Science Guy and Apple TV’s Red Haven. Brendan is a former crew member of the “Dear Moon” project.
Space Ambassadors
We are assembling a group of diverse and engaging individuals from around the aerospace community to mingle with you during the party! Sirisha Bandla
Astronaut Sirisha Bandla is an Indian-American aeronautical engineer. She became the third Indian woman to go to space on Virgin Galactic’s Unity 22 mission. Sirisha is the Vice President of Government Affairs and Research Operations at Virgin Galactic
Nicolina Elrick
Relentless in ambition and resilience, Nicolina Elrick’s journey spans from modeling to IT, real estate, and space tech investment, ultimately launching her beyond Earth as a flown astronaut on Blue Origin NS26 on 29Aug 2024. A cancer survivor and coach, she’s dedicated to transforming adversity into strength. Nicolina’s story inspires others to break boundaries and reach for the stars.
Hady Milani
Acclaimed engineer, artist, and Italian native Hady Milani leads the Space Entrepreneurship master program, shaping future space leaders towards a sustainable space economy. He was recently named in the “30 Under 30 ” list by Forbes magazine.

She has worked for international organisations including the BBC, Al Jazeera, and the Wellcome Trust and regularly appears on Sky News and the BBC to discuss the latest space news.
