Yuri’s Night to Host Global Webcast on April 11, 2020

Due to health concerns, and in cooperation with local health officials, the large Yuri’s Night parties planned in Los Angeles, CA, at the Kennedy Space Center in FL, and in London have been cancelled. This is the same of many events around the world this year. Although some events may be rescheduled for later in the year, our dedicated crew of volunteers is working hard to develop at Global Webcast for April 11 so that we can all celebrate together! This online event will be free and available to anyone around the globe. It will be an opportunity for people around the world to connect with each other while avoiding crowds. Join us on April 11! Yuri’s Night Postpones Party with the Science Museum ‘Space Lates’ in London on March 25

2020-03-13 UPDATE: Yuri’s Night organizers in London have decided to postpone their involvement in the Science Museum due to public health concerns related to the coronavirus. Although the museum is currently proceeding with their ‘Lates’ event on March 25, Yuri’s Night will not be involved. We will post updates as they are available.

Yuri’s Night Space Dance Party Lands in DC During International Astronautical Congress MOVA Globes presents a one-night-only pop-up interstellar party for conference attendees and locals. Washington, DC – Yuri’s Night, the group known for worldwide space parties around the anniversary of human spaceflight on April 12, is hosting a one-night special event on October 24 in downtown DC to celebrate the arrival of over 3,000 aerospace professionals for the International Astronautical Congress (IAC). The event is presented by MOVA Globes and will feature musical artist STΔRCΔDIΔN from New York, virtual reality (VR) launch experiences from Cosmic Perspective, a crew of Space Ambassadors out mingling, and an array of drinks and bites from local bars and restaurants.

Veteran Space Shuttle Astronaut Headlines Yuri’s Night LA 2019! Astronaut Story Musgrave, the only person to have flown on all five Space Shuttles, will lead us in celebrating the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 under the Space Shuttle Endeavour.  The flagship Los Angeles party at the California Science Center has celebrities in science and engineering, Hollywood and TV stars, the Spirit of Yuri’s Night recipient, Space Ambassadors from a multitude of disciplines, and, of course, Droids.
