Mark your calendars for Friday, April 12, 2024, starting at 7 PM, as we gather at the elegant Azahar Modern Tasca  in Condado to celebrate Yuri’s Night, a global party commemorating humanity’s first venture into space.

A Night of Celebration and Exploration: Yuri’s Night is more than just a party; it’s a worldwide movement that honors Yuri Gagarin, the first human to journey into outer space on April 12, 1961 and the first NASA Space Shuttle flight in April 12, 1981. This event symbolizes our collective achievements in space exploration and inspires a new generation of explorers, scientists, and dreamers. At PRSF, we’re taking this opportunity to foster space awareness, support our initiatives, and, of course, have a good time. The evening will be filled with engaging talks from special invitees from the space industry, sharing insights into the latest advancements and Puerto Rico’s growing role in the global space community.

Fundraising for a Stellar Cause: Your participation in Yuri’s Night 2024 isn’t just about celebrating; it’s about contributing to a cause that reaches beyond our atmosphere. Proceeds from the event will support PRSF’s various initiatives, including Microgravity Laboratories for all schools (k-12) in the island, support our Mars-Moon Astronautics Academy & Research Science participants, the Caribbean Space Summit, Space Camp Caribbean and to augment the impact of on going space education and space projects by other organizations, like student clubs. These programs are designed to ignite passion for STEAM education, provide practical experience in space science, and foster collaboration within the space industry.
