YURI’S NIGHT 2024 A Ferno (Varese)

L’Associazione per la Divulgazione Astronomia e Astronautica ADAA Aps, propone il tradizionale evento speciale dedicato all’esplorazione dello spazio. L’iniziativa è associata alla manifestazione internazionale Yuri’s Night – The World Space Party, che ricorda il volo del cosmonauta sovietico Yuri Gagarin, il primo essere umano a raggiungere lo spazio e orbitare intorno alla Terra, il 12 aprile 1961.
Sabato 13 aprile, i divulgatori dell’Associazione illustreranno la grande sfida scientifica e tecnologica posta dall’esplorazione spaziale.

La Yuri’s Night è un’importante opportunità per rilanciare questo messaggio di pace e unità, attuale allora come oggi, dalla Guerra fredda del XX secolo alle tensioni internazionali legate alla tragica cronaca dei nostri giorni.
Gagarin: “Orbitando attorno alla Terra nella mia navicella spaziale, sono rimasto stupefatto dalla bellezza del nostro pianeta. Popoli di tutto il mondo, salvaguardiamo e valorizziamo questa bellezza, non distruggiamola!”.

ON THE OCCASION OF THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE FIRST HUMAN FLIGHT INTO SPACE

The Association for the Dissemination of Astronomy and Astronautics ADAA Aps proposes the traditional special event dedicated to space exploration. The initiative is associated with the international event Yuri’s Night – The World Space Party, which commemorates the flight of the Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, the first human being to reach space and orbit the Earth, on 12 April 1961.
On Saturday 13 April, the Association’s communicators will illustrate the great scientific and technological challenge posed by space exploration.

Yuri’s Night is an important opportunity to relaunch this message of peace and unity, as relevant then as it is today, from the Cold War of the 20th century to the international tensions linked to the tragic news of our times.
Gagarin: “Orbiting the Earth in my spacecraft, I was amazed by the beauty of our planet. Peoples of the whole world, let’s safeguard and enhance this beauty, let’s not destroy it!”.
