DOUG JONES
He’s probably the most famous person you’ve never seen. After a 37 year career under heavy make-ups, but in memorable roles such as the goofy zombie ‘Billy Butcherson’ in HOCUS POCUS 1 & 2, and the blue fish-man sidekick, ‘Abe Sapien’, in HELLBOY 1 & 2, he took this kind of work to new heights with his award-nominated roles as ‘Pan,’ the ‘Pale Man,’ and the ‘Amphibian Man’ in the multi-Oscar winning PAN’S LABYRINTH and THE SHAPE OF WATER. He also played the ‘Silver Surfer’ in FANTASTIC 4: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER. Critics have loved his TV work as Saturn Award winning ‘Saru’ in STAR TREK: DISCOVERY, and as ‘Baron Afanas’ in WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS. Doug’s love of education and curiosity inspired him to create endowed scholarship funds at Ball State University in Indiana and Asbury University in Kentucky.
