Yuri’s Night Invites Space Enthusiasts to Register and Plan Events for 2013

Santa Rosa, CA, January 05, 2013 –(PR.com)– Yuri’s Night, the World Space Party, has opened its new website and is inviting everyone interested in space and space exploration to begin planning parties and events for Yuri’s Night 2013.

The new Yuri’s Night website, created by acclaimed designer Jason Cranford Teague, features a streamlined layout and a unique navigation interface designed to help inform visitors about Yuri’s Night and local events. This morning, Yuri’s Night also officially opened party registration for 2013; the first event to be registered is being hosted by The Planetary Society in Los Angeles, California.

“As of this moment, folks from around the world are able to register their Yuri’s Night events for 2013,” said Jeffrey Alles, Yuri’s Night Director of Operations. “This launch, in the works for over a year, is one of the biggest projects Yuri’s Night has ever undertaken, and we’re excited about leveraging our new technology to make Yuri’s Night 2013 the biggest celebration of human spaceflight to date. Everyone should register a party and start planning. Keep an eye out, though–we’re just getting started.”
