Celebrate the first human in space: “Circling the Earth in my orbital spaceship I marveled at the beauty of our planet. People of the world, let us safeguard and enhance this beauty — not destroy it!”

Rob has a masters degree in astronomy, a science teaching degree and two other science degrees behind his broad skills base. He will take you on a tour of the night sky, describing stars, planets, galaxies, nebulae, stellar nurseries, binary systems, black holes, space craft & exploration, the Moon and extra-terrestrial life.
Bring ALL your questions and delight in a journey around your truly extraordinary cosmos. Look through the 14 inch telescope, watch for meteors, satellites and much else.
You’ll require appropriate footwear (runners or hiking boots) to walk up a small granite outcrop just a few hundred meters from the bitumen of Albany Highway. A drink is also a good idea, although not alcoholic please.
