“Yuri’s Night” is the annual worldwide celebration of human spaceflight. On April 12, 1961, the first person traveled to space and back. Also, on April 12, 1981, the first Space Shuttle (Columbia) launched into space. 

On April 12, 2023, the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Metroplex and beyond, have the opportunity to celebrate Yuri’s Night at The Flying Saucer Draught Emporium, 4821 Bass Pro Drive, Garland TX 75043. The National Space Society of North Texas (NSS-NT) representatives are discussing NASA missions, Commercial Spaceflight companies, humanity’s future in space, monthly NSS-NT meetings, the 41st annual International Space Development Conference (ISDC) here in the Metroplex during Memorial Day weekend, and more.
