Yuri’s Night Party Profile: Cleveland, OH
Yuri’s Night is exactly one month away today, and we’re celebrating by kicking off our annual Party Profile series!
Every few days from now until April 12th, we’ll be giving you quick updates on Yuri’s Night events of all types and sizes that are being planned around the world. With the number of parties we’re covering, there’s bound to be one near you–but if not, we hope you’ll at least get some good ideas on how to run your own event, either now or in the future.
Our first Party Profile is on Yuri’s Night Cleveland, being held Saturday, April 10 at the Great Lakes Science Center.
YN Cleveland is a project of the NASA Glenn Developing Professionals Club, who held their first Yuri’s Night in 2009 and are looking to make it even bigger and better this time around. The center and all exhibits, plus some special exhibits from NASA, will be open all night long for visitors to explore, and several IMAX films will be shown, including the brand-new Hubble 3D. The main lobby will also be transformed into a dance floor, with live DJing and three cash bars. With its combination of scientific exploration and all-night celebration, this is clearly not an event to miss.
