George Whitesides on MTV
We are quite pleased to announce that Yuri’s Night co-creator, George T. Whitesides is now Senior Advisor at NASA Headquarters in Washington DC. Previously Whitesides was the Executive Director of the National Space Society and a Senior Advisor to Virgin Galactic. He is pictured here on a mock up of the Apollo 11 lunar lander used in the filming of the HBO special “From the Earth to the Moon” at the very first Yuri’s Night in 2001 being interviewed by MTV about Yuri’s Night and it’s vision of bringing together music and space.
